Gaming enthusiasts would be pleased to hear a true gaming mobile phone is coming soon. RedMagic, Asus, and now iQOO is getting serious about catering to the mobile gaming device demands of the global gaming community. The company has just announced their newest gaming phone, the iQOO 15 Ultra.
The headlining features that make this a real gaming smartphone are its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, Active cooling fan, and dedicated Gaming triggers. These specs could make it a contender for one of the top
15 gaming mobile phones in India, 2026.
This is the latest flagship gaming phone in 2026 for the company and has already launched in China. Here’s a run down of what the new gaming features the flagship offers:
Capable Gaming Performance
As mentioned, the power behind the device comes from a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC (3nm). The chip received 4.51 million+ points on the AnTuTu 11 benchmarking test which is more than the 4 million points recorded by the Red Magic 11 Pro.
The gaming chip Q3 promises an immersive gaming session with 2K and 144FPS playback, and support for several official game titles with native super-resolution and super-frame.
Gamers get 24GB LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM with the option to expand up to 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage.
To facilitate smooth gameplay without heating, the iQOO 15 Ultra features an Ice Dome Cooling System. This system is customized and holds 59 blades with a diameter of 17x17mm. There is also a 8000mm² ultra-large VC heat dissipation plate made of double-layer ultra-high thermal conductivity graphite.
iQOO 15 Ultra Dedicated Gaming Triggers
The feature attracting all the attention is the inclusion of dedicated gaming controls, a must-have of hard core gaming mobiles in 2026. iQOO has specially designed these to be super-sensitive shoulder buttons, coupled with a super-sensitive gyroscope and touch reception system.
The results are a highly effective and point-precision gaming control that raised the mobile gaming experience.
Display That Brings the Game to Players
The device presents a 6.85-inch (1440 x 3168 pixels [~508 ppi density]) AMOLED display that’s rumored to be produced by Samsung (M14). The screen has 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 8000 nits (peak brightness).
The screen is a LTPO flat screen with 2160Hz full-high frequency dimming, 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 360Hz multi-touch sampling rate.
The screen technology offers lower power consumption, offering higher brightness and focuses on better environmental effects. It’s also slimmer and among the first mobile phones that feature Pleasing Eye Protection 2.0 and hardware-level gaming eye-protection.
No-Compromise Cameras
The iQOO 15 Ultra doesn’t lag behind in the camera department just because it's a gaming smartphone! It houses a 50 MP Sony main camera, 50 MP Ultra-wide angle lens, 50 MP Sony pro-level Periscope telephoto lens. There’s a 32 MP front-facing camera.
All the cameras come with an added boost in the form of NICE algorithms and image quality improvement technology including Live Photos, AI visual effects and more.
Futuristic Design
The phone looks stunning with a hexagonal honeycomb texture that looks like some device out of a sci-fi movie.
A Deco capsule provides a transparent view of internal modules and also adds light blades that pulsate slowly.
The frame is forged through a low temperature matte metal and Anti-Glare micro-frosted back cover with Anti-Fingerprint coating.
The phone will be accompanied by a charger that has an L-shape capsule to prevent any obstacle while gaming and charging your phone (holding your phone horizontally).
Powerhouse Battery
Fitted with a single-cell Blue Ocean 7,400mAh (Si/C Li-Ion) battery, the phone comes with 100W ultra-fast flash charging, 40W wireless fast charging. It’s also compatible with PPS and PD fast charging to deliver optimized power via USB-C chargers.
