Just about a week after showcasing the
‘Golden’ FIFA Edition phones at the MWC 2026, Motorola has announced the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, the latest addition to the latest Edge 70 series in India.

Visible Enhancements
The Edge 70 Fusion follows suit by maintaining the same quad-curve display as the rest of the Motorola Edge 70 series devices. The display curves into the edges of the back panel, hence, the phone sports smooth, somewhat curved side panels.
As for the design upgrade, the mobile features a nylon material that draws on the inspiration of linen, giving a textured finish to the back panels of these Pantone curated colors. There’s also a new metallic color accent surrounding the camera module.
Durability Center and Point
Although the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes in at just 7.99mm and 193 grams, the company remains dedicated to durability and the company has included various high-rated durability certifications and features such as:
- MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade use
- IP69 AND IP68 rated for water and dust resistance
- Corning® Gorilla® Glass 7i for display protection
This makes the mobile phone highly durable without compromising on weight and thinness.
Upgrading Camera Specifications
This mobile happens to be the first of its kind as it’s the first on the market to feature the Sony LYTIA™ 710 sensor. In accordance with Motorola’s push for AI integration, the camera system offers Photo Enhancement Engine powered by “Moto AI” that enables the application of personalized styles and additional image stabilization.
The camera hardware is:
- Main (primary) camera: A 50MP camera based on Sony's LYTIA™ 710 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization.
- Secondary camera (Macro Vision): A 13MP Ultrawide angle (120° FOV), f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF.
- Front (selfie) camera: An impressive 32MP, 4K video recording, f/2.2 aperture, and Quad Pixel Technology.
Consistent Display Vibrance
As usual, Motorola delivers with a stunning 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED that features 1.5K super HD resolution. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is a device with a lot of firsts as it is the first phone to merge a 144Hz and a quad-curve display that’s also Pantone Validated™ Color.
With a peak brightness of 5200 nits, the screen of the Edge 70 Fusion thrives in delivering a clear viewing experience in outdoor environments.
The audio aspect is taken care of by dual stereo speakers supported by Hi-Res Audio support and integrated Dolby Atmos®.
Capable Performance & Exceptional Battery Life
The whole device finds its power from a Snapdragon® 7s Gen 4 that facilitates it in both standard operation and the in-built Moto AI tools.
Other details related to battery and charging are:
- A 7000mAh battery that delivers over 50 hours of usage per full charge.
- A 68W TurboPower™ fast charging support and reverse power-sharing with compatible devices.
